Dr. Laxmi Rathore is a dedicated Fetal Medicine Consultant with a strong academic background and extensive training in the field. She excelled in her academic pursuits, demonstrating excellence throughout her schooling. Dr. Rathore obtained her MBBS from Shivamoga Medical College, Shimoga, followed by completing her MS in Obstetrics at Dr. S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur.
Driven by a passion for fetal medicine, she pursued a two-year fellowship at the Bangalore Fetal Medicine Centre, under the guidance of renowned expert Dr. Prathima Radhakrishnan. During this fellowship, Dr. Rathore obtained FMF certification for a range of specialized scans, including NT/NB scan, anomaly scan, and fetal echocardiography.
Her expertise extends to performing various invasive procedures crucial for prenatal diagnosis and management, such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villous Sampling, Fetal Reduction, and Intrauterine Blood Transfusion. Dr. Rathore is also adept in genetic counseling, providing compassionate support and guidance to patients and their families navigating complex genetic issues.
